After the release of their self-titled debut album, SPINN have announced a new UK tour off the
back of their biggest tour to date.
The band have gained support from Spotify, Radio One, Dork Magazine, Line of Best Fit, and a
host of other blogs. Their back catalogue has had over five million streams across Spotify
having garnered choice placements in playlists like New Music Friday UK, The Indie List and
being on the cover of Hot New Bands twice.
Known for their youthful sound, the band have seen a clear progression in their fanbase gaining
fans of music young and old. Their live shows have become something of a talking point with
Louis O’Reilly and Sean McLachlan’s tight knit rhythm section offering a solid backbone to Andy
Power’s swirling guitars, and Johnny Quinn’s trademark dance moves.
Having released their debut album, a busy summer of festivals, and now this UK tour in hand,
2019 is set to be SPINN’s year.
Dork Magazine:”SPINN are one of the most exciting up and coming bands out there, and their
first LP shows that behind those mischievous grins is a group of young men with incredible
talent who undoubtedly have what it takes to be the next big thing.” – 4/5
Line Of Best Fit: “SPINN channel an array of Northern bands in to an amalgam that feels both
classic and contemporary, optimistic and introspective, and at times, wistfully melancholic.” –
Upset Magazine: “There’s very little rough edges or darkness here, Spinn don’t want your soul
they just want to put a smile on your face and in these dark times the satisfying salve of indie
pop goodness is always welcome.” – 4/5
