After many months spent away writing and recording, The Wired are back with a big headline show in Sheffield at The Leadmill.
Previously the band have played such festivals such as Leeds Festival, Sound City, Great Escape and Tramlines. More recently, the band have just been announced to play Tramlines 2019 on the main stage alongside Courteeners, Doves, Two Door Cinema Club and many more!
The bands last single ‘Stay Here’ received airtime and support from Radio 1 and Huw Stephens as well as being playlisted on Radio X for two consecutive weeks and played by Gordon Smart on his evening show and John Kennedy’s show likewise.
Largest shows to date include support slots with Cast, Pigeon Detectives and Tom Clarke (The Enemy). The band have also previously sold out the Leadmill’s 900 capacity main room supporting The SSS.
2019 sees a return to form for The Wired on the back of a very successful last single, the band will be releasing a string of singles over the spring and summer.
More shows are to be announced for the band as well as more festival slots this year.
Cucamaras are an indie inspired four-piece based around Nottingham and Sheffield. The band is centred around the song writing talents of Oliver Bowley and Joshua Hart, with gritty bass lines from Louis Tatham and punchy, commanding drums from Joe Newton. Cucamaras find inspiration from anywhere between naughties indie to 80s synth pop. Having played across the North of England, with sell out shows in Sheffield and Nottingham less than a year after forming as a band, their bold live set aspires to fill dancefloors across the UK and beyond.
